Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data Cast & Color (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, how we use it, and your choices. The Service is based in California, USA. Contact: castandcolor@gmail.com.

What we collect

Account info. When you sign in with Google, our authentication provider gives us your email address and a unique account identifier. We don’t see your Google password.

Photos you upload. You can upload photos of friends and family that you want to feature in coloring pages. These are stored in our file storage with access restricted to your account.

Scene inputs. The scene descriptions and character selections you write are stored alongside the generated outputs.

Generated coloring pages. The output images we create for you, stored in our file storage.

Payments. When you buy credits, payment processing is handled by a third-party payment processor. We receive a confirmation that the purchase succeeded and the amount and pack purchased. We do not see or store your full credit card number.

Logs. Our hosting and database providers keep standard request logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) for operational and security purposes.

Our promises

• We will never share or sell your data with others. We do not sell or share your personal information, as those terms are defined under California law (CCPA/CPRA), to anyone, for any reason, including cross-context behavioral advertising.
• We will NEVER use your data for training models. We do not use your uploaded photos, scene inputs, or generated pages to train AI models. The AI providers we use are bound by terms that prohibit training on your inputs. If we ever change providers, we will only choose providers with the same protections.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of third parties to run the Service. Each one only sees the data it needs to do its job. The categories are:

• Hosting provider serves the website to your browser.
• Database and file storage provider stores your account, uploaded photos, generated pages, and metadata.
• Authentication provider handles Google sign-in and gives us your email and account identifier.
• AI image generation provider: when you generate a page, we send your scene text and the photos of the selected friends to a third-party AI provider that produces the coloring page output. We choose providers whose terms state that API inputs are not used to train their models.
• Payment processor handles credit-pack purchases (when payments are enabled).

We may change providers from time to time without updating this policy, as long as the new provider is in the same category and offers comparable protections.

Children’s data

The Service is intended for adults (18+). It is not directed at children under 13. If you, as a parent or legal guardian, choose to upload a photo of your child in order to make a coloring page for them, you consent on their behalf to the processing described above. If you believe a child has created an account or that we hold data about a child without parental consent, email castandcolor@gmail.com and we will delete it.

Retention

We keep your uploaded photos, scene inputs, and generated pages until you delete them or close your account. When you close your account, we delete your data within 30 days, except for limited records we may need to keep for legal or accounting purposes (for example, payment records).

Your rights

• Access. View your photos and generated pages from the library and account pages.
• Delete. Remove individual photos or pages, or close your account entirely from the account page.
• Export. Email castandcolor@gmail.com to request a copy of your data.
• Correct. Update your photos or scenes by uploading new ones.

If you live in California, the CCPA gives you the right to know what personal information we hold, to request deletion, and to be free from discrimination for exercising those rights. The same rights apply through our normal account controls and contact email above.

Security

We use HTTPS in transit. Photos and outputs are stored with access restricted to your account through server-side checks. We follow our providers’ security defaults. No system is perfectly secure; if we discover a breach affecting your data, we’ll notify you by email.

Cookies

We use cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we’ll notify you by email or in-app notice. The “last updated” date above tells you when the latest version took effect.
